Ali was classically trained in French cuisine at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and earned her bachelors degree in restaurant management. She is also a second level Certified Sommelier through the International Wine Guild. Her professional experience stems from Boulder, Colorado, where Ali worked with the School Food Project, Whole Foods, and served as the Executive Chef of two restaurants, Cuvee and World Café. She has trained in food and wine throughout Spain, and in wellness foods at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. In 2012, Ali created www.eatveganfood.com and a vegan catering business to encourage others to eat more vegan food. Her website features delicious recipes with practical instructions for cooking vegan food. In 2013, she launched Arizona’s first vegan food truck. Ali loves sharing her passion for cooking and eating vegan food. Aside from expressing her undying love for her chiweenie, Fitzy, Ali spends her spare time practicing yoga, hiking mountains, and advocating to end animal cruelty.
